As My Garden Grows…

Cinnamon Pecans 
My Grandparents had lots of pecan trees on their farm outside of Chandler, OK.  That started my love for pecans.  My father-in-law also has a huge Pecan tree here in Carrollton so the tradition can continue!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup evaoporated milk
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 T. water
3 cups pecan halves
Directions:
Combine milk, sugar, cinnamon, water and vanilla in a large saucepan.  Dissolve sugar over medium heat.  Add pecan halves and continue to cook, stirring frequently.  Cook until pecans are completely sugared with no syrup remaining in the pan.  Spread on wax paper and let cool.  Great gift idea.
